Role: Leader and Strategist

When Covid 19 began to shut down businesses across the world, we created a task force within the GoDaddy Help Team. Care, Marketing, Digital Care and Leadership worked together to create a strategy to enable customers and non-customers to pivot their businesses to an online model.

I was the Video Content Lead for that effort and mobilized my team to create 30 Covid-specific videos and blog content designed to address the needs of Small and Medium Businesses around the world. The topics included:

  • Communicating with Customers

  • Increasing Marketing Reach with Social Media

  • Leveraging Online Scheduling

  • Shifting Payments to Online

  • Shifting from Brick & Mortar to Online Stores

Results: Customer Reach with the video content doubled from the month prior. Product Activations within the Core GoDaddy Product tripled and the team received a Stevie Award for an innovative and responsive approach to serving customers with Education and Guidance in a globally scalable way. This work also led to an innovative solution for automating a localized transcript for every language/every market where GoDaddy does business. 100% of the videos within weeks and reducing costs.
